Fair Trade International
Established to alleviate poverty and promote more sustainable development practices at a global level, Fair Trade Certification focuses on a number of initiatives that protect workers’ rights. In order to become Fair Trade Certified, our farms have demonstrated a commitment to several standards, including safe and equitable working conditions for the employees on our farms and sustainable production practices. Working with Fair Trade Certified growers also enables us to make valuable contributions to social, environmental, and economic improvement projects – something we are really proud of!
FlorEcuador
This certification is unique to the floral industry. Established in 2005 with a goal of improving social and environmental sustainability, Flor Ecuador Certification is specifically focused on holding Ecuadorian flower companies accountable. Certification involves demonstrating a commitment to providing fair salaries to Ecuadorian flower farmers and staff, as well as meeting a number of environmental commitments. Rosaholics has always operated with a focus on both environmental sustainability and employee wellbeing, so relying on farms with the Flor Ecuador Certification is a natural choice for us.
Rainforest Alliance
Social, economic & environmental sustainability – these are the three pillars of the Rainforest Alliance Certification. Sacrificing any one of these elements will ultimately compromise sustainability efforts overall. This label shows consumers that they can trust in the product they purchase. To be successful in creating a more sustainable world, we must show a commitment to sustainability at all levels – that commitment is what continues to earn our flower farms the Rainforest Alliance Certification year after year.
Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC)
Created to promote secure and healthy commercial trade practices in cooperation with governmental authorities and international organizations, BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) is an international business alliance with a presence in Latin America. This group is recognized as an Industry Partnership Program by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. BASC members are committed to legal integrity, establishing and maintaining proper business licenses, as well as demonstrating a clean criminal record.
